Advanced Dental Care
We provide our patients the finest in general dentistry.
Even if you take excellent care of your teeth and gums at home, you need to see your dentist regularly so they can check for problems that you may not see or feel. Dental problems generally don’t become visible or cause pain until they are in more advanced stages. Come in for a cleaning if it has been more than six months or if you are feeling any sensitivity or pain.

The appearance of your smile is one of the most important physical attributes and most visible to everyone you meet. The advances in dentistry, combined with the skill and artistry of Dr. Herman and Dr. Weintraub can finally give you the smile you have wanted for so long. While cosmetic dentistry covers any service that enhances the appearance of your smile or mouth, there are numerous health benefits to having healthy, good looking teeth. We offer porcelain veneers which are an excellent answer to numerous issues with your smile including: spaces between the teeth (diastemas), broken or chipped teeth, unsightly, stained or washed out fillings, permanently stained or discolored teeth, misshapen or crooked teeth and stained or yellowed teeth. They are bonded onto the front of your teeth to create strong teeth and an attractive smile. Other advances in dental techniques allow us to create a great looking, natural smile including tooth colored fillings (composites), bleaching, bonding, porcelain crowns and minor orthodontics.
Crown & Bridge
A crown is used to restore a tooth to its original shape, increase the tooth’s strength and improve the overall appearance of the tooth. With gold and porcelain options available, a crown can be created to fulfill both the cosmetic and practical requirements of your teeth. A bridge may be required if you are missing a tooth or teeth and either an implant or other options are not suitable.
Over the past decade, major advances have been made in the field of implants, making them the preferred option for replacing missing teeth. Working with highly respected and experienced oral surgeons, we ensure that you receive the best possible care. Once there is an implant, we will shape a new tooth that is secured to the implant base. These teeth are extremely strong and in many cases, the best replacement for a missing tooth.
Using the latest digital technology, our office is equipped to take x-rays using far less radiation than standard x-ray machines require. Digital radiography has allowed us to reduce the amount of radiation you are exposed to by up to 80 percent. So, while x-rays may be required to diagnose what is causing you pain or discomfort, now doing so is no longer a risk to your health.
Technology allows us to use a small color camera on the end of a dental instrument to show you on a monitor what the inside of your mouth looks like. We can freeze the picture, print it to paper, or save it as a movie. Often, patients are unaware of the conditions that exist in their mouth so this becomes an excellent tool to help educate our patients.
Nitrous Oxide Relaxation
If you have any anxiety about visiting the dentist, you may want to try nitrous oxide. Known to be one of the safest and most effective methods of patient relaxation, nitrous oxide has helped many patients overcome their discomfort in a dental chair.
Snoring – Silent Nite™
Snoring research has shown that custom fabricated dental devices worn at night that move the lower jaw into a forward position, increase the three dimensional space in the airway tube which reduces air velocity and soft tissue vibration. By increasing the volumetric capacity of the airway and preventing soft tissue vibrations, snoring is eliminated. In clinical research studies, dentist prescribed oral devices have exhibited initial snoring prevention success rates of between 70 to 100%.
If you suffer from pain in the face, jaw, neck, or shoulders, popping or clicking in the jaw joint, headaches or limited jaw movement, you may be suffering from problems with your temporomandibular joint. We can fit you with a custom designed appliance that will alleviate the pain and allow you to relax the joint so that it can heal.
Custom designed mouth guards and night guards are made of hard or soft acrylic and molded to fit the shape of your teeth. Mouth guards are recommended to protect the jaw and teeth during physical activity and sports such as boxing, football, basketball, or other activities where your mouth may get hit.
A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. There are two types of dentures available, including partial and complete dentures. Partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain, while complete dentures are used to completely replace all teeth. Dentures are made to resemble your natural teeth so there should be no noticeable change to your appearance. In fact, dentures may even improve your smile!
